You may ask yourself why I sound so passionate about this business. Well, it’s quite simple, I grew up in the business (as the son of a Real Estate Developer). I’ve called Traverse City my home since 1991 and have expertise in Marketing, Web Sites, Land Development, Condominiums, Water Front Properties, Foreclosures, Short Sales and New Construction. I am a former General Contractor, former Michigan Real Estate Appraiser (Valuation specialist) and have a degree in Marketing and Management.
I am the former 2009-2010 Chairman of the Traverse Area Association of Realtors (TAAR) MLS Committee which oversees the operation and implementation of the Multiple Listing Service; I am a member of the TAAR Board of Directors as well as a current member of the TAAR Professional Standards Committee. Additionally, I have earned several designations and certifications from the National Association of Realtors including CRS, ABR, RSPS, SFR, Green, and ePro.
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work. That said, in my experience as a Traverse City real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
